Hands Off Hessle Police Station!

There has been a Police Station at Peeler House in Hessle for many decades but that presence is now under threat.

Peeler House on Ferriby Road is no longer suitable and the Police had reached an understanding with East Riding Council that they would move out and share the newly-refurbished library buildings in Hessle. Peeler House has now shut and the Police are temporarily sited at Kirk Ella.

But in an about-turn, the Conservative-run East Riding Council have now told the Police they can't share the library building, leaving them with nowhere to go.
