Time to re-think cruise terminal location

Do you think Victoria Dock is a suitable location for a cruise terminal in Hull?

Local councillors Linda Chambers, Diana Hatcher and Adam Williams are backing residents on Victoria Dock opposed to plans for a cruise terminal next to their homes. The proposed Victoria Dock location is too small, with no room to build the necessary infrastructure. It would cause significant congestion and pollution in the area.

Alternative sites, at either Albert Dock or St Andrews Quay, should be given serious consideration by the Council. These sites are away from residential areas and have the size and capacity to deliver a cruise terminal that could really benefit Hull.

We want Hull City Council to reconsider plans to build a cruise terminal on Victoria Dock. Alternative sites at Albert Dock or St Andrews Quay would be much more appropriate and will ensure Hull has a cruise terminal that could really benefit the city.
