Hearing loop success at the Guildhall

Fantastic news! For 9 months Cllr Terry Keal (Sutton Ward) has been lobbying for new hearing induction loops in the Guildhall. We've been told that these will soon be installed in key meeting rooms and at the Hull City Box Office!

Terry said: "The Guildhall is at the heart of local democracy in Hull and it needs to be accessible to all councillors and residents in our city.

“No one should be prevented from participating in Council business because of hearing loss or any other disability.

“Although I have had to struggle at times, I am thrilled that induction loops will now be fitted. I’ve been fighting for this for months and it’s fantastic to have helped secure this move before I step done as a councillor in May.”
