Campaign for Better Mental Health services in Hull and the East Riding

For too long, mental health has been seen as a lower priority than physical health problems.

The Lib Dems are ending that difference. From April the first ever waiting time standards for mental health will be introduced.

The Liberal Democrats have said they would spend £3.5bn on mental health care in England between 2015 and 2020.

That extra funding would provide £250m to help pregnant women and mums dealing with depression, new waiting time standards for people in crisis and thousands of more people getting access to talking therapies for anxiety and depression.

Many decisions about mental health services are made locally, and so we need to make sure that the Council and local NHS take the issue seriously too.

If you agree that mental health should have equal priority with physical health, and that we need better mental health services locally, please join our campaign by signing below.
