Safer Crossings for the Junctions around Beverley Road, Queens Road & Sculcoates Lane

Residents from Pollard Court - a local sheltered housing complex - have asked us to help them get safe pedestrian crossings at the junctions around Beverley Road, Queens Road and Sculcoates Lane.

Without a designated crossing point these busy roads can be really difficult to cross - especially for people with mobility and sight difficulties.

The Avenue (Abi Bell, Elspeth McCobb and John Robinson) and Central (Jurgita Kirtikliene and James Melling) Lib Dem Teams are joining forces to call on the Council to take action - you can help by supporting their petition today.

I'm joining the calls for Hull City Council to put in pedestrian crossings at the Queens Road / Beverley Road / Sculcoates Lane junctions as soon as possible.
