We would prioritise the health and well-being of residents across the city. This year, Labour cut £1.7million from the Public Health budget. In contrast, we would restore that budget in full.
We believe that the victims of domestic violence, those struggling with drug and alcohol addictions, those struggling to lose weight and new mothers benefitting from breastfeeding and Doula projects all deserve well-funded and accessible services.
The health of residents across the city should come first.
